What is Lorem Ipsum?
Lorem Ipsum is scrambled Latin-like placeholder text used by designers and developers to fill layouts before the real content is ready. Because the words carry no meaning, they let you judge typography and spacing without being distracted by the copy.
Can I choose paragraphs, sentences, or words?
Yes. Pick the unit and how many you want — for example five paragraphs, twenty sentences, or one hundred words — and the generator produces exactly that amount.
What does the "start with Lorem ipsum" option do?
When enabled, the output begins with the traditional phrase "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit." Turn it off for fully randomized text from the first word.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The text is generated entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
