How is GPA calculated?

What grade scale does this use?
It uses the common United States 4.0 scale: A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, and so on down to F = 0.0. A+ is treated as 4.0, which is how most schools cap it.
What are credit hours?
Credit hours reflect how much a course counts toward your total load — a heavier course carries more weight in your GPA. Enter each course's credit value so the average is weighted correctly.
