Enter a prefix to put text at the start of every line and a suffix to put text at the end — handy for wrapping a list in quotes, commas, bullets, or HTML tags. Turn on numbering to prepend an incrementing number, choosing where it starts and what follows it. For each line the number comes first, then your prefix, then the original text, then your suffix. Optionally skip blank lines so numbering stays continuous. Everything runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

How do I add a prefix or suffix to every line?
